Project Analyzer logs users into Vision by matching their Windows login name to an account in the Vision database.  This process is transparent when the user's Windows account name matches their Vision account name.  If the user has a Windows login name that is different from their Vision login name, you will need to map the two logins using Connection Manager.

To do this, start Connection Manager and navigate to the "Security" tab.  In the "Username Mapping" section, do the following:

1)  Enter the user's Windows user name in the "Active Directory Account" field.  (Do not include the name of your company's Windows domain.)

2)  Choose the user's Vision login from the "Vision Account" drop-down.  You may type in part of the user's full name or login to find the correct account more quickly.

3)  Click the "Save Changes" button on the toolbar.

The screenshot below demonstrates this process.  In this example, Project Analyzer will map the "Admin1" Windows account to Chandler Gabel's Vision login.

Once you've completed this process, ask the user to close and restart Project Analyzer.  Project Analyzer will now automatically connect them to Vision using the correct login credentials.
